Mont St Michel, France
Mont-Saint-Michel is a tidal island about one kilometre off the coast of Normandy, at the mouth of the Couesnon, crowned by a Benedictine abbey. With its bay, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most visited monuments in France. Photos taken in 2010, with sub-galleries on the abbey, its cloister and the village.
