Baux de Provence, France
Les Baux-de-Provence is a village in the Alpilles, north-east of Arles, perched on a rocky spur crowned by a ruined castle overlooking the plains. The word bauxite was coined from its name. The photos were taken in 2004 and 2008, with sub-galleries on the castle and the village.
