Sicily, Italy

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean, at the tip of the Italian peninsula, shaped by Greek, Roman, Arab, Norman and Spanish influences, and dominated by Mount Etna. This large gallery was photographed in 2020: Palermo with the Palazzo dei Normanni, Cefalù, Castellammare del Golfo, Taormina, Etna, the baroque towns of Noto and Modica, and Ortigia in Syracuse.
