Siem Reap, Cambodia
Siem Reap, capital of the province of the same name in north-western Cambodia, is the gateway to the temples of Angkor, the former capital of the Khmer Empire. The town itself has French colonial architecture around the Old Market and a lively Pub Street. This gallery, photographed in 2023, is one of the largest on the site: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the Bayon, the Baphuon, Ta Prohm, Preah Khan, Banteay Srei, Banteay Kdei, Pre Rup and many smaller temples, as well as the Angkor National Museum and the Cambodia Landmine Museum.
