Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Phnom Penh has been the capital of Cambodia since 1865 and is the country's political, economic and cultural centre. It stands at the confluence of the Tonlé Sap and Mekong rivers; its name comes from Wat Phnom, a hilltop temple, and from Lady Penh, the city's legendary founder. The photos were taken in 2024 and include two large sub-galleries: the Royal Palace, residence of the King of Cambodia, and the National Museum, with its collection of Khmer art.
