Preah Khan, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Preah Khan, the "Royal Sword", is a vast Buddhist temple built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII in honour of his father, north-east of Angkor Thom. It was the centre of a large organisation of almost 100,000 officials and servants. Its long corridors, partly invaded by trees, appear throughout these photos, taken in 2023.
