Phnom Bakheng is a temple-mountain built at the end of the 9th century on a hill between Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. It was the state temple of the first capital at Angkor, and its summit is a popular viewpoint over the surrounding forest and Angkor Wat. Photos taken in 2023.
