View from the Terrace of Saturn – Palazzo Vecchio, Florence

From the terrace of the apartments of the Elements, the view stretches over the roofs of Florence to the basilica of Santa Croce, its bell tower and the green hills of Oltrarno with the Forte di Belvedere. The terrace, named after the painted ceiling of Saturn by Vasari's workshop, offers one of the finest panoramas of the city from the Palazzo Vecchio.
