New Caledonia
New Caledonia is a French territory in the south-western Pacific, about 1,200 km east of Australia. Its lagoon, one of the largest in the world, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This large gallery was photographed in 2010: Nouméa and the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, the Isle of Pines, Lifou in the Loyalty Islands, the Blue River Park and the east coast around Thio and Canala.
