Saturn reclines beneath a tree on the left while figures of the seasons bring him the first fruits of the earth, in a landscape where satyrs and nymphs gather the harvest. Giorgio Vasari and Cristofano Gherardi painted this wall of the Sala degli Elementi in 1555–1558, above roundels and panels painted in shades of ochre.
