A huge sarcophagus of red porphyry carved with Roman horsemen triumphing over fallen barbarian prisoners, with busts and garlands along the lid. Made in the 4th century for Helena, mother of Constantine, it comes from her mausoleum on the Via Labicana and stands in the Hall of the Greek Cross.
