Quaratesi Polyptych – Gentile da Fabriano – Uffizi Gallery, Florence

Four saints standing on gold grounds under Gothic pinnacles: Mary Magdalen, Nicholas of Bari, John the Baptist and George. They are the side panels of the altarpiece painted by Gentile da Fabriano in 1425 for the Quaratesi family at San Niccolò in Florence, whose central Madonna is now in London.
