The «Isole Britanniche» show England, Scotland and Ireland («Hibernia») in the Western Ocean, with ornate cartouches. It belongs to the 53 maps painted on the cupboard doors of the Medici wardrobe for Cosimo I, by the cosmographer Egnazio Danti from 1563 and by Stefano Bonsignori after 1575.
