Salsify flowers (Tragopogon porrifolius) and mottled Japanese pinks (Dianthus japonicus) are arranged with grasses in this signed watercolour. It is one of the works of the Japanese painter O'Tama Kiyohara (1861–1939), wife of the Palermo sculptor Vincenzo Ragusa, shown at the Royal Palace in 2020 from the Palermo museum named after the couple.
