Under a white ceiling with skylights, the long tiled gallery holds a central plinth of stone sculptures, surrounded by paintings such as a triptych of a woman painting a landscape and a queen raising a glass beside a tree of dragons. The galleries designed by Josep Lluís Sert for the Maeght Foundation use natural light from above and terracotta floors to bring the artworks close to the visitor.
