Saint Thomas Aquinas sits enthroned between doctors and theologians, triumphing over heretics lying at his feet, in a crowded and richly coloured composition. Attributed to the Neapolitan Mario di Laurito, active 1501–1536, it comes from the church of Santa Cita in Palermo.
