Corner pavilion and wing from the moat – Serrant Castle

The pavilion with its tall chimney rises straight from the moat, in front of an arched bridge and, further on, a wing ending in a domed tower. The two perpendicular wings and the corner pavilions date from the late 17th century, when the son of Guillaume de Bautru added them to the castle.
