The compartments of the wooden ceiling are painted with gods flying through the sky, among them a chariot drawn by rearing horses and a figure leaning on an armillary sphere surrounded by putti. These canvases by Giorgio Vasari and Cristofano Gherardi, painted in 1555–1558, complete the allegories of the elements on the walls of the room.
