Large and small butterflies flutter across the sheet in this watercolour, the main one with yellow wings spotted with black. It is one of the works of the Japanese painter O'Tama Kiyohara (1861–1939), wife of the Palermo sculptor Vincenzo Ragusa, shown at the Royal Palace in 2020 from the Palermo museum named after the couple.
