Small white deutzia flowers (Deutzia scabra and gracilis) and quaking grass grow along a branch in this watercolour signed in Japanese. It is one of the works of the Japanese painter O'Tama Kiyohara (1861–1939), wife of the Palermo sculptor Vincenzo Ragusa, shown at the Royal Palace in 2020 from the Palermo museum named after the couple.
