Virgin of the Apocalypse with Saints and Angels – Giovanni del Biondo – Vatican Museums

The Virgin, clothed with the sun and standing on the moon as described in the Apocalypse, holds the Child amid saints and angels in a Gothic gold tabernacle. Painted after 1391 by the Florentine Giovanni del Biondo, it is in the Vatican Pinacoteca.
