Room of 18th-century portraits – Rundāle Palace, Latvia

White damask walls are hung with portraits of Courland noblemen and their wives and small engraved portraits, above walnut commodes, slant-front desks and a blue and white tiled stove. The room presents the people of the duchy who were contemporaries of the dukes.
