Peak of a Pediment – Banteay Srei – Angkor National Museum, Siem Reap

A flame-shaped pediment peak finely carved with a lotus diamond motif and nāga scrolls, in delicate pink sandstone. It comes from the east gopura II of Banteay Srei and dates from the 10th century.
