A painted map of Corsica, with its mountains in relief, its towns and ships on a deep blue sea, framed by a cartouche and the name of the island. It belongs to the 40 maps of Italy painted in 1580–1585 from drawings by the cartographer Ignazio Danti in the Gallery of Maps.
