The Virgin and Child are enthroned among angels and lilies, flanked by the archangels Michael and Raphael and the bishops Justus and Zenobius, on a carpet painted with Flemish precision. Painted by Domenico Ghirlandaio around 1486 for the church of San Giusto outside Porta a Pinti, destroyed in the siege of 1529.
