The Virgin and Child enthroned among saints under a richly carved gilded frame. Signed and dated 1457 by the Sienese painter and sculptor Lorenzo di Pietro, called Vecchietta, it was painted for the silk merchant Giacomo d'Andreuccio for his villa chapel at Monteselvoli.
