Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Paris, France

The Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, in the 19th arrondissement, was created in 1867 on former quarries. Its steep hills, lake, artificial cliffs and the Temple de la Sibylle perched on a rocky island make it one of the most original parks in Paris. Photos taken in 2007.
