The long rusticated front of Palazzo Corsini opens onto Via della Lungara in Trastevere through tall arched doorways, one of them leading into the vaulted entrance passage. The palace houses the Galleria Corsini, part of the National Gallery of Ancient Art, and since 1883 the Accademia dei Lincei, Italy's oldest scientific academy.
