The great Gothic hall of the first floor, the former council chamber of the palace, is devoted to Donatello and his circle. In spring 2022 it hosted part of the exhibition Donatello, il Rinascimento, shared with Palazzo Strozzi, which brought together the three bronze Davids of Donatello, Verrocchio and the Martelli David.
