Christ on the cross is surrounded by mourning angels, with the fainting Virgin, Saint John, Saint Francis and Saint Lawrence below, on a gold ground. Painted by Bitino da Faenza, documented in Rimini between 1398 and 1415, it is in the Vatican Pinacoteca.
