A short ramp leads to the central projection with its two doors, round windows, arched bays and pediment, while the walls on either side alternate schist and tufa quoins. This axis marks the centre of the main building that Jean Delespine organised around a double-flight staircase, in the Renaissance spirit Péan de Brie brought back from the Italian wars.
