A huge fresco of the battle of 312 in which Constantine, on a white horse, defeats Maxentius, who drowns in the Tiber, a victory that opened the way to Christianity in the Empire. It was painted after Raphael's death by his pupils, led by Giulio Romano, around 1520–1524.
