White Hall – Rundāle Palace, Latvia

The ballroom of the palace is entirely white: its walls and ceiling are covered with delicate stucco scenes, rocaille scrolls and garlands, lit by two rows of windows and crystal chandeliers. First planned as a chapel, it was turned into a ballroom in the 1760s, and Graff's stucco shows pastoral scenes, the four seasons and the four elements.
