West front of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Ours – Royal City of Loches

A square tower with a stone spire rises above the Romanesque porch that shelters the sculpted portal. Founded around 965 by Geoffroy Grisegonelle, Count of Anjou, to house the Virgin's girdle, the church was served by twelve canons and became the parish church of Saint-Ours at the Revolution.
