Siege-engine terrace from above – Castelnaud Castle

Seen from the top of the castle, the terrace at the end of the spur holds several reconstructed siege engines, while the Dordogne flows below the wooded cliff. This tip of the spur, the most vulnerable side of the castle, was protected by the keep and is now used to show the war machines.
