The Wawel Royal Castle and its hill above the Vistula are the most historically significant site in Poland, residence of the Polish kings for centuries. The complex includes the Renaissance castle with its arcaded courtyard and the cathedral where the kings were crowned and buried. Photos taken in 2026.
