Piel de toro y piel de cordero – Eduardo Arroyo – Maeght Foundation, Saint-Paul-de-Vence

A man wrapped in a huge shaggy sheepskin strides across a red bull's hide spread out like the map of Spain, framed by bare light bulbs and a swarm of flies. Eduardo Arroyo painted this large square canvas, Bull's Hide and Lamb's Skin, in 1994; the 'bull's hide' is a traditional image of the Iberian peninsula.
