Wooden stairs and a covered wooden gallery cling to the walls of the seigneurial lodging, a tall building with a stone-slab roof and narrow windows above the courtyard. The reconstructed gallery of hoardings is part of the visit and shows how these wooden defences hung on medieval walls.
