Tel Aviv, Israel
Tel Aviv-Yafo, on the Mediterranean, is the economic and technological centre of Israel. Its White City, with more than 4,000 Bauhaus-style buildings from the 1930s, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its long seafront promenade is lined with beaches. This large gallery, photographed in 2001, 2006 and 2007, covers the beaches and the port, the main streets such as Rothschild Boulevard, Ibn Gabirol and Jabotinsky, Kikar Hamedina and the David Intercontinental hotel.
