Abbatiale Sainte-Foy de Conques, Conques, France
The abbey church of Sainte-Foy in Conques was a popular stop for pilgrims on the Way of St. James, who came to venerate the relics of Saint Foy, a young woman martyred in the 4th century. The Romanesque church is known for its Last Judgement tympanum, its treasure with the golden reliquary statue of Saint Foy, and its modern stained glass by Pierre Soulages. Photos taken in 2018.
