Bare rooms with pale walls, wooden floors protected by plastic sheeting and chandeliers wrapped in blue bags await restoration, with a black glazed tile stove and framed photographs on the walls. In 2009 several rooms of the palace still housed temporary exhibitions while restoration work continued.
