A large diptych shows a white silhouette beside a sheaf of straw and a spotted green curtain with a figure peering out; nearby hang four landscapes in four different styles and a painting with an eye, horses and goats under a theatre title naming the director Klaus Michael Grüber. Eduardo Arroyo also designed sets and costumes for the stage, notably for Grüber, and his paintings often borrow the devices of the theatre.
