Printed cotton wall coverings with red patterns, a marble fireplace, a walnut writing table, a secretaire, a vitrine and a longcase clock furnish the duke's study, hung with still lifes and tavern scenes. The fireplace, rebuilt in the 19th century, was reconstructed from surviving fragments.
