Prague, on the Vltava River, is the capital of the Czech Republic and the historical capital of Bohemia. Residence of Holy Roman Emperors such as Charles IV and Rudolf II, it has kept an exceptional ensemble of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. This large gallery, photographed in 2001, 2004 and 2007, is organised by place: Prague Castle and its surroundings, the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, the Vltava and Žofín island, streets such as Celetná, Pařížská, Národní and Na Příkopě, the main railway station, and several hotels.
