Amid clouds in a frame of pink and gold rocaille, putti and mythological couples surround the central scene, the upbringing of Cupid, with painted medallions in the corners. Francesco Martini and Carlo Zucchi painted this ceiling in 1765-1767; scaffolding for its restoration still stood in the room in 2009.
