Agra, India
Agra, on the Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh about 230 km south-east of Delhi, was a capital of the Mughal Empire. It is home to the Taj Mahal, the white marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, and to the Agra Fort, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Photos taken in 2003.
